Why Choose Danny Lopez For
MUSIC EXPRESSION THERAPY IN MELBOURNE?
It’s safe to say, there’s no therapist quite like Danny, and no music teacher like him, either. Slotting between the two, with a background in both holistic counselling, and as a music teacher, songwriter, and producer, Danny offers the best of both; unconditional support and guidance, with enough freedom to explore areas that have previously gone un-discovered.
In his eye, Danny’s role is to build a pathway towards your full potential – self-aware, with all the right tools – inviting you to be your complete self along the way.

WHO I WORK WITH
Simply put, that’s anyone. Anyone on a journey to become their best self. Anyone going through a tough patch. Anyone who wants an outlet to let go; unleash; and just be, in a safe space.
INDIVIDUALS
You might already have a therapist but need a little more support. You could feel let down and want to try something different. Or you could be feeling the weight of the world, finding yourself searching for a release. Whatever the scenario, you’re welcome here.
COUPLES
For those who struggle to say how they truly feel; who would like a gentle nudge towards more open communication; and who are chasing a deeper, lasting connection, we’ll create a safe space where you can do just that.
GROUPS
It’s about more than opening up. Here, we’ll use music to wave goodbye to your day-to-day stresses, and hello to better communication – because nothing says “team building” quite like a fun-packed singsong.
What can I use music expression therapy sessions for?
The truth is, there is no right or wrong when it comes to what music therapy looks like to you. In fact, if you step out of our doors feeling lighter, with a mind that’s quieter, it is right for you. Some choose to write songs about what their child means to them.
Others choose to sing about their own childhood, in the style of their favourite song. You might choose to sit back and let the words flow out, without writing a word. The only thing consistent across each session, is a judgment-free environment, led by somebody who truly cares.
